Tamares is led by Poju Zabludowicz, global investor, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Poju has led Tamares since 1990. Tamares makes long-term investments in real estate, technology, primary sector and leisure industries. Together with his team including in London, New York, Las Vegas, Silicon Valley, Vaduz and Israel, he has built a series of highly successful investments and businesses globally, with a strong focus in the United States.

Tamares portfolio includes iconic properties in New York’s Times Square and London’s Mayfair, significant hotel and leisure interests in Las Vegas and Tel Aviv, and a series of early-stage technology investments including in Palantir.


In 1994, together with his wife, Anita Zabludowicz, Poju established The Zabludowicz Collection, a dynamic and growing collection of over four thousand contemporary art works. Since its inception, The Zabludowicz Collection has supported hundreds of new artists many of which have achieved significant success. Affiliated to The Zabludowicz Collection is the UK charity, Zabludowicz Art Projects which seeks to inform and educate the public with respect to contemporary art with associated programmes of exhibitions and events in permanent venues in the UK, USA and Finland.

Poju Zabludowicz was born in Finland and remains a passionate supporter of his home country. Alongside Tamares’ investment in Outotec, a leading Finnish mining technology company, Poju serves on its board of directors as well as on the board of the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art in Helsinki. He is also a key supporter in the initiative to establish Guggenheim Finland.
